What is kayaking and what are its benefits?
If you are looking for a new leisure activity, a way to explore the beauty of nature, relax, or a fun way to exercise, kayaking may be suitable for you. Kayaking is a water sport that involves paddling a small boat called a kayak using a double-bladed paddle. There are various types of kayaks depending on the type of water being used. Here, we will describe the Sit on Top type, which is a newer design that has been developed to make paddling easier and more convenient. The hull is designed with drainage holes so that water splashed in can flow out, making it comfortable for leisurely exploration and suitable for beginners. You can choose to paddle solo or in pairs. Kayaking has many benefits, such as a means of exercise, stress relief, and increased closeness to nature. It is a good workout for the upper body and helps tone and strengthen muscles. Additionally, being on the water can help you relax and improve your mental state. It also allows you to paddle through calm waters and observe wildlife, such as amphibians and various kinds of birds as well.

How to operate a kayak?
1. To paddle forward, hold the paddle so that the raised part of the paddle handle is on your right hand and facing outward from your body. When the right blade enters the water, use your left arm to push straight out and twist your waist following the direction of the paddle, then lift your right arm while twisting your right wrist towards your body and alternate this rhythm continuously to move the kayak forward.
2. To paddle backward, move either side of the paddle back while pushing the paddle forward. Alternate left and right in a continuous rhythm, using the movement of your torso and waist as the main action.
3. To turn left, dip the right paddle into the water and push your left arm forward. Your right arm sweeps the paddle back until it is fully behind you, then lift it up. Do this continuously, and the kayak will turn left as desired.
4. To turn right, paddle similarly to how you would to turn left. Dip the left paddle into the water and push your right arm forward. Your left arm sweeps the left paddle back until it is fully behind you, then lift it up. Do this continuously, and the kayak will turn right as desired.
5. To brake, or reduce speed, dip one side of the paddle into the water and gently push the paddle forward, alternating left and right continuously. The kayak will slow down or come to a stop.
